Simple answer –> “Lemming”
More complicated answer is that we see that for many evangelicals the proper goal is to win the culture by every means possible (minus Gospel transformation). See for example Hagee’s (sp?) reversals on his positions on the Roman church not on theological grounds, but because it might hurt John McCain… and the list could go on…

American Christianity is pragmatic to the core “Faith” doesn’t exsist in any context today - even with Christians invoved in politics.
The problem is now even their pragmatism is degenerating into compromise and downright foolishness.
