This is disgusting. How can such a blatant molestation of free speech be endured??
I am gay. I am pro same-sex marriage. But what this guy says at the end is true – “This isn’t about gay marriage, this about free speech.”
Anybody and everybody has the right to voice their thoughts on any subject, even if it harms others.
I do, however, think that “Gay Fascism” is a misleading title. As the guest said, the LGBT organizations didn’t want anything to do with this because they can see that it is wrong. This is a court ruling issue, not a “gay agenda” thing.
Oh, I also wanted to point out how funny it is that he is confused about why the guy who sued the clergyman did so when no harm was done to him. This is EXACTLY what I am confused about, but on the other side of the isle – Why do people care if gay couples are allowed to marry? It doesn’t harm anybody. These couples are already together, already living together in many cases, already have children in many cases. It seems that people think if we outlaw gay marriage, they will all just stop making families together, but that is not the case. There will be gay families and couples anyway, it’s only a matter of providing them the same protections and benefits that every other couple enjoys.
I have yet to hear a valid reason why gay couples should be barred from marrying. If anybody out there has an actual reason (not just prejudice and Bible quotes) as to why gays should not be allowed to marry, I would love to hear it.
P.S. Just so you don’t use the same old tried and failed arguments…
-Empirical scientific research shows that gays have no greater tendency to molest children than heterosexuals.
-Saying gay families would tear apart the fabric of society is not only extremely vague, but is also a complete speculation with no evidence.
-Gay couples, on average, are much more prepared parents because they don’t accidentally have children. This means no unwanted children that are aborted or adopted out. Also, allowing gay couples to adopt would give countless foster children a loving home instead of spening their lives in institutions.
-Empirical scientific evidence shows children growing up in same-sex parented families are not more prone to become homosexual themselves.
